Momir, a native of Belgrade, Serbia, began his career as a video coordinator – scout with the Minnesota Timberwolves. During his tenure with the Timberwolves, he evaluated US and international talents.

In 2004, Momir joined a USA based corporation as a member of international advisory team. His team conducted research and prepared recommendations regarding business opportunities. Momir gained significant business experience through this position. During this time, Momir specialized in scouting basketball players and representing them to college coaches. Momir architected two NCAA sectioned show cases, both launched in Serbia. These showcases were the only NCAA sectioned showcases in Europe during 2000s decade.

In 2006 Momir become a coach for the Patterson School in Lenoir, N.C. which was one of the top prep school basketball programs in the country. While there, he worked in developing numerous NCAA Division I student-athletes.

In 2008, Momir joined the University of Rhode Island (URI) as an international recruiting and scouting coach. During this time, Momir developed a network of scouts worldwide that helped him identify talented basketball players. He traveled to over 20 countries in search of athletes and successfully recruited players from Serbia, The Republic of Georgia, Argentina, and England. Throughout Momir’s professional life, he was forced to overcome the challenges of an extremely fragmented sports industry.

It was during Momir’s tenure at URI that he envisioned a platform that would defragment the industry while assisting athletes in pursuing their dreams in sports no matter where they lived around the world. In 2010 Momir left the University of Rhode Island and his coaching career and founded IMP Sports Group. Momir managed a team of 20 which worked on ItsMyPlay.com platform that served to connect athletes and coaches. During this time, IMP Sports Group became one of the most successful scouting companies in Europe. The company specializes in scouting basketball players and organizing basketball camps and showcases.

Momir is presently serving as a CEO/Director of Marketing & Sales for DME Sports Academy located in Daytona Beach, Florida. DME has been one of the fastest growing Sports Academies in the world, serving student athletes with various programs for multiple sports throughout the whole year. Coach Dan Panaggio and Momir joined forces in organizing DME International Showcases around the world in which student athletes are educated about USA Basketball and NCAA recruiting. Presently in his position Momir is supervising all of the academy’s operations, global recruiting, staff, marketing and sales.

Momir graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in international business. Gajic was a standout for the Sailfish basketball program, serving as team captain while leading the team in scoring and rebounding as a senior. He was honored with an Outstanding Student-Athlete award by the NABC.
